Currently, we are looking for a Service Engineer for one of our esteemed clients in Rotterdam Area. To become an independent Service Engineer, via an extensive training and learning-on-the-job program, provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Providing maintenance, commissioning, and repair for tank level measurement systems, water treatment systems, loading computers, and navigation lights on (large) ships, (mega) yachts, navy vessels, or ferries to the ‘Waddeneilanden’.
•  Regularly driving to ships in the Netherlands and Belgium using your company car

Who are you?

• A completed technical MTS or WTB education, direct Mechanical Engineering / Electronics.
• Living in the region of Rotterdam is preferred.
• Flexible deployment, no 8 to 5 mentality.
• Good command of the English language in word and writing. Dutch is advantage.
• Enthusiastic and affinity with shipping and marine.
• Not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
• Curious to learn the trick of the trade. 

Furthermore:

• You will learn everything about maintenance and service of the client’s systems.
• You will start with a good training program of at least 6 months. Here you will be included in the activities and learning-on-the-job.
• Room for personal development through studies or courses, to grow further, working independently and even taking on jobs abroad.
• You will work closely together with a colleague in the office, who also works in the workshop.
• An informal atmosphere, the lines of communication are short.
