Logistics Coordinator

For one of our clients around Rotterdam, we’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for the daily logistics and administrative activities. Your daily activities include informing clients about the order process, managing the transport schedule and delivery, coordinate and inform suppliers, supervising and reviewing the administrative process.

You will be working with just-in-time logistics and provide an up-to-date sales administration. Furthermore, you will be coordinating various logistic activities, maintain contacts with existing and new service providers and manage the stock file.

Responsibilities

  • Offering extensive support in maintaining the existing business.
  • Monitoring inventory-management and customer contracts.
  • Managing order processing, logistics documentation, technical documentation, and sample requests.
  • Taking care of and supervising the administrative process of the orders.
  • Responsible for stock administration for suppliers and customers.
  • Checking customer credit limits and stock levels and coordinate with the Sales Manager.
  • You are the first contact person for suppliers, existing and potential customers regarding operational matters.
  • Acting as internal coordinator for dedicated suppliers.
  • Coordinating communication between various departments.

 

Who are you?

  • You have 2-4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • A background in the chemical/distribution industry gives you an advantage.
  • You are in the possession on an ADR certificate and have knowledge about Incoterms, customs, and transport certificates.
  • Your communication skills (written and spoken) are adequate in both English and Dutch.

What we offer you

  • Contract type of 1 year on full-time basis (40 hours).
  • Travel allowance of 0,21€/km.
  • Monthly pension contribution of 5% of gross salary.
  • Holiday allowance 8% of gross monthly salary.
  • 25 paid holidays per year on full-time basis.
