Global QHSSE Advisor

For a client based in Capelle aan den IJssel, we’re looking for a Global QHSE Advisor. In this role you are expected to work proactively with staff and managers to establish and maintain sustainable & safe systems of work. In addition you will perform audits individually and transfer these into data within our systems to give solid advise to the involved stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Implement and achieve the objectives of the QHSSE plan and KPI’s.
  • Conduct Management Review meetings.
  • Maintain and promote the (Quality) Management System (SharePoint) as per the applicable standards. (E.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001)
    Manage QHSSE registrations and follow up of QHSSE related incidents, Audits, Inspections, and their CAPA’s.
  • Identify and evaluate (possible) QHSSE improvements and shortcomings in current processes in order to continuous improve the organization.
  • Coordinate, execute, maintain and /or improve administrative activities and systems in line with internal requirements. E.g. timely and accurate QHSSE reports and statistics with correct and useful QHSSE KPI’s.
  • Promote and communicate QHSSE culture and awareness by (proactive) advise, educate and support management and staff on QHSSE matters.
  • Ensure investigations of QHSSE incidents take place, and are being registered in the applicable systems by supporting management and staff.
  • Proactively carry out audits & inspections and advise on how to improve methods of work in compliance with the applicable regulations and company procedures.
  • Participate in assigned improvement projects and other initiatives
    Act as the “Prevention Officer” for the Dutch entities.

 

Who are you?

  • You have a relevant bachelor degree with 5 years relevant experience (e.g. Business Administration, Safety Engineering, etc.)
  • You have (lead) audit experience with the standards mentioned.
  • Being qualified as Safety Engineer/Manager (HVK/MVK) is a plus.
  • You have a fluent proficiency of the English and Dutch language, both verbal and written.
  • You are confident working independently.
  • You possess great IT skills (Microsoft 365 including SharePoint and Power Apps).
